Week Three...

The Spring Fairy is progressing nicely! All I have to do now is the border and backstitching, which should take about two weeks. I'm going to put her away until I finish another project I've been putting off, though.




It's good to take a break from a big project, but I've neglected my poor teapot sampler for too long! It's for my parent's anniversary, which is a month away. It matches the decor in their living room/kitchen. I won't have time to get it framed, but I at least want to give it to them!

All have to do is finish the last teapot, fill in the shelves, and do the backstitching:

Mom just ordered three new books for me, and also brought home a bunch from the library book sale! I now have around 50 books in my library, and about as many magazines. I'll never be able to do everything from these books, but I love to look through them for inspiration.
