New project...

I was on vacation for two weeks- well, vacation isn't quite the word, as I had two deaths in the family. Image hosted by Photobucket.com But I had plenty of time to work on a new stitching project. And surprise, surprise, it's another design by Lesley Teare. Image hosted by Photobucket.com This is her Spring Angel, first in a series of exclusive designs for The World of Cross Stitching magazine.

This is what I've done in two weeks:

The magazine said it should take six weeks to complete. Bah! I'll get it done in a month. I have the Summer Angel pattern already. Autumn and Winter should be available soon.

Here is a small card I made for my sister's wedding anniversary:

It came from 120 Celebration Cross Stitch Cards by Gillian Souter. I usually find her designs too cutesy, but this book impressed me. Lots of clever, simple designs for cards.

And here is the big project I'm working on for my mother's Christmas present:

One row down, four to go. It took me two weeks to get that far. I should have no trouble finishing it by Christmas! Image hosted by Photobucket.com

So many projects, not enough time. Image hosted by Photobucket.com
