Decisions, decisions!!

I have two versions of HMS Victory to stitch. I haven't decided yet which to do (I don't have time to do both).

I'm leaning more towards this one:



It has more detail and a nice background. But it's more complicated than this one:



*cries* I can't decide!!!

This month is the 200th anniversary of the Battle of Trafalgar. I love ships, and I love reading fiction and non fiction about the Napoleonic Wars. I'd love to do a stiching of HMS Surprise from Patrick O'Brian's novels (yes, she was a real ship!). But first, Victory. It'll have to wait a few months, though.

I'm almost done with row three of the shoe afghan. I'll finish one block tonight and the other on Thursday! Rows four and five have very simple shoes, so I shouldn't have any trouble finishing them.
