Winter Angel, Week Three!

I got the skirt finished. That's actually what I thought I'd get done this week.



I'll get the legs done and start the border next week! I'll get her done in another two weeks.

I spent some time on the shoes piece, too:



It looks so old fashioned. I'm not so sure I like it...but it is for my mom, not me, and she likes it. This one I'll probably get done this week. I'm starting to get the hang of the satin stitches. But there are some other weird stitches I have to do before I finish...

I was very naughty yesterday. I went to Borders and bought the latest Cross-Stitch Crazy and Cross Stitcher (UK). Then I went to Michaels and bought the "Frederick the Literate" kit. It was 40% off, so I figured what the heck! It will be a long time before I get to it, though.
