Finished, at last!

I finished the Chinese Vase last week. Here it is:



It took me a total of 14 hours (plus a half hour or so of correcting mistakes). I don't know why I got so frustrated with this one. It might have been the July 5 deadline. So my sister and brother in law will get their "china" anniversary present from me a month late!

I started the Victorian Shoes sampler (for my mom's Christmas present) this week while house sitting. I've done eleven hours on it already. This is what it will look like:



I've done three of the middle shoes already. This one should be no problem to finish in time for Christmas!

I'll try to do a little work on Frederick the Literate and Carousel in August, but I'm mostly going to be doing Christmas presents and projects from now until Novemeber.
