Progress but no finishes...

I've had a busy weekend- most of it spent in Kentucky at my cousin's wedding! But I managed to get about 10 hours of stitching in.

Three more hours on the Antique Autos- which I will finish by the end of the week!

Seven more hours on the Thanksgiving Harvest Fairy:

I'm afraid I'm going to run out of the dark beads on that one. It's still moving along very smoothly! I can't wait to finish her.

I have planned out all of the ornaments and cards I want to do for Christmas this year. I picked some nice, simple designs from Cross Stitch Crazy and Cross Stitcher (UK). My theme this year, I think, is going to be wreaths and candy canes!

Hey, it looks like you use the stitch and park method? How does it work and is it useful? I always wondered if people accidentally mixed up threads or got them knotted up together.
Both are coming along nicely :)

I plan which colors I'm going to use in one section and have the needles prepared. They don't get mixed up because I make sure to pull them out of the way when I'm done with one color. It does save a bit of time, especially when there are a lot of color changes.
