Christmas "present" and Past!

First- here is Knit Wit, which I finished just in time for Christmas. Mom loved it. She loved the card and beaded necklace, too! It took 14 hours to stitch, and there were no problems. Next year, I will complete Vintage Shoes for Christmas!

This chart was one of my Christmas presents- it's "Purr-fect Harmony" by Margaret Sherry. I'm going to do it for my sister for her to hang in her music classroom. I may end up doing it for myself as well- or at least one of the cats. I also received a calendar with a new cross stitch chart for every day!

I made this stocking about eight years ago. It's a Debbie Mumm chart, and the fabric is hers, too. I made stockings for my parents, too (Dad's has a Santa instead of angels), and planned to make them for my sister's family but never got around to it. I still have the charts, but this particular fabric is no longer made. If I ever do the other stockings, I'll have to use a different Mumm fabric.

A closer look...

Wow. 2007 was an incredible stitching year. I did five of the Mirabilia Holiday fairies, got a good start on Royal Holiday, did two Dolly Mamas kits, a car sampler for Dad (which he loved), and a bunch of cards and small projects. 2008 looks to be busy, too- my cousin's wedding sampler, the cat chart from Christmas, and I will hopefully finish Royal Holiday! I meant to work on The Princess of Quite-A-Lot and finish Folk Art Boy, but ran out of time! I hope I'll have time to do them this coming year. I have a Felicity Wishes kit waiting to be worked on, too!
