With most of the beading out of the way, the rest should be a snap to finish. I could possibly get her done this weekend! I'm running low on the crystal beads, though- I hope I don't run out before I'm finished.
I went apple hunting with my parents this week. We brought home a half bushel of apples of many varieties! I used some for this recipe:
Apple Pizzas
Six apples peeled and sliced thin.
2 cans of biscuits (I use Grands by Pillsbury)
1 cup cinnamon sugar (3/4 cup sugar, 1/4 cup cinnamon)
2 tbs melted butter.
1 cup shredded cheese
Flour for rolling
Preheat oven according to directions on biscuit package (usually 350°). Mix apples with butter and cinnamon sugar. Using a rolling pin, flatten each biscuit. Put biscuits on greased baking sheets. Arrange apple slices/cinnamon mixture on each biscuit. Top with cheese. Bake until biscuits are browned and the cheese melts. Note- because they have been rolled flat, the biscuits will not rise. Be careful not to over bake!
