The beading on this is going to be goergeous. Mirabillia just released the fourth in the series, the Valentine Fairy! I hope to have all four in my stash by next Christmas. I wonder what the other two holidays are going to be? St. Patrick's Day, maybe, and since it's an American company (I think) the Fourth of July? Both would be great.
The shoes:
It took me ten freaking hours to do this one shoe. It has eighteen colors in it! And I ran out of the lightest teal color for the ribbon on top of the piece. I just filled in with the next lightest color. I can't tell the difference. I keep running into trouble with this one. I don't think I'll get it done in time to be framed for Christmas...unless I frame it myself. It's going to take at least two more weeks to finish the shoes, then two more for the backstitching. It's not hard backstitching, but there's so much of it!
This project has totally thrown me off schedule. I'm going to put the Cherub Cat away for next Christmas...I'll just get something else for my sister.
