A quick project!

I've been feeling gloomy this week, and really avoided stitching. But I had one small project that I was able to do in one night...


This came from Quick & Easy Stitch & Craft, yet another great British magazine! It was a card making kit:





It took an hour to stitch the bow, then another hour to put the card together.

It's going to be an anniversary card for my sister and her husband. The inside will say "Love is the sweetest thing." The anniversary is a month and a half away, but I just wanted to do it now. When I take a break from big projects to do little stuff, I feel better! Now I feel like I can face my big projects again.


Speaking of big projects, here is my first 2 1/2 hours of work on Miss New Year:





It will take a while! I'm going to work on Royal Holiday for at least 10 hours before the end of May.
