Slow progress on Miss New Year...

I've had a pretty tough month. I more or less stopped stitching for a week or two, and I got really frustrated with Miss New Year. But here is about seven hours of work (not counting the mistake repair time) since my last update:



The top of the dress gave me all the trouble. I had to pull out the threads and beads. That was an hour of work that I had to do over again! I was feeling rotten that day for other reasons, and I actually felt like crying when I noticed my mistake. But I fixed it with no problem!

Despite the trouble I've had with her, I think she may be my favorite Holiday Fairy yet! I have a lot of time for myself over the next two weeks, so I should get her done soon.
