Dragon- finished!

Now I'll never lose my needles again.

It took me twenty hours over two and a half weeks to finish!



Now I can finally say I finished a Teresa Wentzler project! I really enjoyed working this one. I'd never used silk threads before, but I like the way they look. I made a few small mistakes (my name isn't centered right), but I still think I did a good job! I didn't do the nun stitch for the finishing- I just tucked the edges under. I have a little bit of clean up work to do on the corners.

Next up, finish my sister's cat birthday card, and FINALLY do serious work on the Halloween and Thanksgiving Fairies!

I saw Hairspray on Sunday. Four stars! I think I liked it more than The Producers and Dreamgirls. It was hilarious and had great songs and dancing. John Travolta was unrecognizable as the mother, and I think he made the whole movie. The kids were all great. I've got to get the soundtrack now. I'm going to see The Simpsons Movie tomorrow, and then next week, I'm going to see Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix again- only this time in IMAX. That should be fun!
